What Tevo charges
3% + ₦100 per paid ticket
The percentage and flat component apply to each paid ticket. A checkout with several paid tickets adds those ticket fees together. Free tickets have no Tevo fee, and an entirely free booking has nothing to pay.
Review the final checkout breakdown before paying. An event may have an approved fee waiver. Later pricing changes do not change a booking already created.
How the fee works
Pass the fee to buyers: buyers pay the ticket subtotal plus the Tevo fee. Your organiser amount is the ticket subtotal.
| Tickets | Tevo fee | Buyer total |
|---|---|---|
| 1 × ₦5,000 | ₦250 | ₦5,250 |
| 2 × ₦5,000 | ₦500 | ₦10,500 |
Absorb the fee: buyers pay the ticket subtotal, and the Tevo fee is deducted from your organiser amount. For a ₦5,000 order, the buyer pays ₦5,000 and your amount is ₦4,750.
A ticket price must cover the absorbed fee. Select the fee model when setting up the event and review its pricing preview.
When you receive your money
For eligible, confirmed live Paystack payments in Nigerian naira, the usual automatic payout schedule is the next working day to your connected bank account.
A Monday payment would normally settle on Tuesday. A Friday payment would normally settle on Monday, provided it is a working day. Weekends and public holidays move settlement to the next working day.
Connect and verify your bank account before publishing paid tickets. Paystack can hold the first payout until Tevo verifies the new or updated subaccount in its Paystack dashboard. Bank processing, account reviews, or unresolved payment issues can also delay a payout. Contact Tevo if a confirmed payment is overdue.
Test payments do not transfer real money to a bank. A confirmed booking and a completed bank payout are different statuses.
Pricing and payout questions
Do I pay before publishing?
There is no charge to create or publish an event. The standard Tevo fee applies to paid bookings.
Why choose Tevo?
You get transparent booking fees, a usual next-working-day payout schedule through Paystack, and one flow for your event link, verified paid tickets, and admission. Compare the complete fee and payout conditions when choosing a platform.
Can I change who pays the fee?
Choose the pass or absorb fee model in your event’s ticket setup. Check the preview before publishing. Existing orders retain the amounts agreed at their checkout.
What happens if a buyer needs a refund?
Read the refund and cancellation guide. Refund eligibility depends on the event’s disclosed conditions and applicable rights; bank processing is separate from approval.
